Abstrak

Currently, the process of hatching chicken eggs among farmers is still largely done manually, such
as temperature regulation by manually turning lights on and off, as well as manually rotating the eggs. This
results in unstable temperature and humidity levels inside the incubator, which can potentially reduce the
success rate of egg hatching. This study aims to develop an automatic egg incubator based on the Internet of
Things (IoT) that can regulate temperature and humidity, and allows remote monitoring via a smartphone using
the Blynk application. The development method follows the waterfall model, starting from literature review,
needs analysis, design, to testing. The system utilizes a DHT11 sensor to measure temperature, a DHT11 sensor
to detect humidity, and a 16x2 LCD to display temperature and humidity data. Temperature control is
maintained within the range of 30°C–37°C, while humidity is kept between 55%–65% using an automatic fan.
Temperature and humidity data can be monitored in real-time through the Blynk application, which displays
monitoring graphs. Testing results show that the tool can be implemented, indicating that this IoT-based
automatic incubator is feasible for use and can help improve productivity and efficiency in poultry farming.
