Abstrak

This study aims to design and implement an automatic smart door access system based on RFID
technology using the RFID-RC522 module and Arduino UNO. This system was developed as a solution to
facilitate automatic user access without requiring physical contact, as well as improving security aspects. The
system works by reading the ID from an RFID card or key fob. If the ID matches the registered data, Arduino
will activate the servo motor to open the door automatically. The development stages include hardware design,
control program creation, and direct functional system testing. The test results show that the system is able to
recognize valid RFID cards quickly and accurately, and reject access from unregistered IDs. In addition, the
system showed stable and responsive performance during the trial process. In conclusion, this automatic smart
door system is effective in improving the convenience and efficiency of access, and can be implemented in
various environments such as homes, offices, and public facilities.
