Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements
2. Originality and Ethics
   • Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.
   • Authors must comply with publication ethics in accordance with COPE and Indonesian National Scientific Publication Ethics (BRIN/LIPI).
   • Authors are responsible for the content of their manuscripts.
3. Scope
   The manuscript must align with the Focus and Scope of NUANSA INFORMATIKA, including but not limited to Algorithms, System Design, Computer Networks, Gamification, Game Development, Software Engineering, Mobile Applications, Artificial Intelligence, Human–Computer Interaction, Image Processing, Computer Graphics, and Computer‑Aided Design.
4. Language
   Manuscripts must be written in English clearly, concisely, and grammatically correct.
5. Template Compliance
   Manuscripts must follow the official journal template. Submissions that do not comply with the template will be returned to the authors before the review process.
6. Plagiarism Check
   • Authors are required to conduct an initial plagiarism check (using Turnitin/iThenticate or equivalent) and upload the similarity report along with the manuscript.
   • The similarity index should be ≤ 20% (excluding references).
   • The editorial team will perform a second plagiarism screening before review.
7. Manuscript Preparation

• File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
• Length: Maximum 10 pages (including tables, figures, and references).
  For manuscripts exceeding 10 pages, an additional IDR 50,000 per page will be charged.
• Structure:
  • Title (English)
  • Authors’ Names and Affiliations
  • Abstract (150–250 words) and Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Methods / Materials and Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgment (if any)
  • References (IEEE style as in template)
• Figures and Tables:
  Must be clear, numbered sequentially, and cited in the text.

1. Submission Process

• Manuscripts must be submitted via OJS 3: https://journal.fkom.uniku.ac.id/ilkom
• Attach during submission:
  • Manuscript in Word format using the template.
  • Plagiarism report.
  • Declaration of originality (if required).

1. Peer Review and Revision

• NUANSA INFORMATIKA applies a double‑blind peer review process:
  • Authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
  • Reviewers provide detailed comments on the manuscript and through the review form in OJS.
• Revision Requirements:
  • Authors must revise the manuscript in the same file according to reviewers’ comments and highlight changes.
  • A response letter addressing each reviewer’s comment must be included.
• Review process timeframe: 1–2 Weeks from submission to final decision, depending on revision cycles.

1. Publication Fees

• Article Processing Charge (APCs): IDR 100,000 after the article is Submission.
• Publication Fee Charges (PFs): IDR 350,000 after the article is accepted Reviewer.
• For manuscripts exceeding 10 pages: IDR 50,000 per additional page.
• Payment Information: will be sent via email after the article is accepted.
• Letter of Acceptance (LoA): issued after payment confirmation.

No Fast Track: NUANSA INFORMATIKA does not provide fast‑track services; all manuscripts go through standard review and editorial processes.
